How to get here
When exiting the highway, we highly recommend setting your GPS destination to Piazza della Libertà first. This ensures a straightforward route to the edge of the historic center. Once you reach Piazza della Libertà, take the immediate turn onto Via Camillo Cavour. As you enter Via Cavour, you will pass beneath a large ZTL (Restricted Traffic Zone) camera. Proceed straight and do not let your GPS divert you onto alternative streets. The hotel will be on your right side, immediately after the third traffic light. Following these simple steps ensures you will arrive at our doors in just a few minutes.

Hotel Il Guelfo Bianco is located within Florence’s Restricted Traffic Zone (ZTL). When you pass the ZTL entrance camera, the access light may be red (active) or green (inactive)—rest assured, as a guest of our hotel, you are fully permitted to enter.
However, please remember to provide your vehicle's license plate number to the Front Desk immediately upon arrival. This allows us to register your car on the city's authorized "white list" and safely protect you from any traffic fines. Please note that this authorization does not permit driving in dedicated bus or emergency lanes, which must be avoided at all times.
A taxi ride from the official station rank directly to our doorstep takes approximately 10 minutes, depending on traffic, and typically costs around €12. For those traveling light who prefer a scenic introduction to the city, we are also within a reasonable walking distance through Florence's historic streets.
If you are flying into Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR), a taxi is the most comfortable and seamless way to reach us. Taxis at the airport terminal operate on a convenient city-regulated flat rate of €22, plus a €1 supplement per piece of luggage. Under normal traffic conditions, the drive to Hotel Il Guelfo Bianco takes about 25 minutes, bringing you straight to our doors completely stress-free.
